Adventure of Painting

Our calls for this workshop will be on Wednesdays, at noon Mountain Time (11am Pacific, 1pm Central, 2pm Eastern, 7pm UK). 

This workshop will run from Wednesday, February 5th through Wednesday, March 12th. 

This varies a lot depending on the group. Our first call will be an introduction to our workshop, establishing goals, and thinking about which artists to study to get you to your goals - so the artists we look at during the following weeks will vary.

You'll be encouraged to create your own library of study materials, specific to your goals, too. 

These are live Zoom calls with me (Scott). There will be lots of interaction, discussion, and engagement. 

Yes! There will be assignments each week. How much time you set aside is up to you and how much you'd like to get out of this workshop. I would recommend spending at least 30 minutes each day diving into studying to get the most out of this class.

Yes! You'll have access to a private community space where you'll post assignments and inspiration, chat with other students, and discuss what you're studying.

All calls will be recorded and posted to your course dashboard, and I'll email links to the recordings as soon as they're available as well. 

Studying is key to my process, and it's one of my favorite ways to help artists find inspiration, a-ha moments, clarity, answers, and excitement in your own artistic process. I'd like to do one of these workshops each year if time allows.

Absolutely! There is always more to learn, there are new goals to think about, and I'd love to see what you're working on these days. 

I acknowledge that Scott's online workshops are a team effort, and that I will get out of the workshop only as much as I put into it. I agree to fully participate in the workshop calls and will follow Scott's guidance to my best ability. I agree to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the workshop.

I acknowledge that unanticipated circumstances arise, and the timeline for delivering this workshop is not guaranteed. Scott reserves the right to cancel any workshop call by notifying me at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled call. Scott agrees to reschedule the cancelled call for the week after this workshop concludes.

In the event I'm not able to show up to any calls, I acknowledge that recordings of the calls will be provided to me within 24 hours of the call (or as soon as the recording is available). I agree to pay the entire workshop fee even if I miss any of the calls.
